The City of Mission Viejo on January 10 will begin accepting applications for its annual Community Services Funding Program. 

Funds are available for nonprofit organizations serving Mission Viejo residents with a focus on agencies providing human services. Information, guidelines and electronic fillable forms are available at this link. 

If you want to jump-start your New Year's resolutions, purchase a membership to one of our four recreation, fitness, and tennis centers - and get a big discount. That's right: For this month and January, we are waiving the $50 initiation fee for all memberships.  

You can enjoy great amenities including pools, pickleball, tennis, fitness centers, basketball, a splash pad, playground, and some fun fitness classes that will get you started off right for 2022.

The City of Mission Viejo and the Mission Viejo Activities Committee are inviting the community to a new one-week only holiday event - Rudolph's Rink - December 6-13.

Bring the whole family to Mission Viejo Civic Center and enjoy 40-minute skating sessions. In addition to skating, there will be a "Christmas Café" to help warm you up with hot beverages, snacks and water. Glow-in-the-dark items will also be available for purchase for small children.

We invite all to come out and enjoy this new one-week only event. All are welcome to sit back, relax, enjoy a warm fire and take in the holiday ambiance whether you skate or not. A Christmas Café for your pleasure will be open to purchase hot beverages, nibbles or water. Glow-in-the-dark items will be available for purchase to delight the little ones. Skating can be a family fun activity. 40-minute sessions will begin on the hour. Skate rental is $10. A signed waiver is required for each participant (skaters under the age of 18 years must have a parental signature).
