- January 10, 2022 - HCD Response to City of Mission Viejo's 6th Cycle (2021-2029) Adopted Housing Element
- Public Comments received on the Housing Element update: Mission Viejo Partnership; The Kennedy Commission; The Public Law Center; Welcoming Neighbors Home.
- October 13, 2021 - Draft Housing Element submitted to the state Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for review and comment.
- September 7, 2021 - HCD Comments - 2021-2029 Draft Housing Element
- July 8, 2021 – Draft Housing Element submitted to the state Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) for review and comment.
