Adopt-a-Marine family this holiday season
Make the holidays brighter for some families of our City's adopted Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division through the annual Adopt-a-Marine program.
Every year, countless military members spend the holidays away from loved ones. In gratitude for their service, you can make a difference to those who protect our freedoms by providing holiday gifts for Marine families. As part of the program, participating Marines provide a "wish list" for their children to the family readiness officer at Camp Pendleton. That information is then relayed to City staff, which works to link families with generous community members interested in providing gifts that are delivered to Camp Pendleton before the holidays.

Thank you for your comment on the City’s News page. The Veterans and Military Family Resource Center is available through the City’s website (https://cityofmissionviejo.org/services-guides/military-veterans/resour…), and a list of contact info for Veterans resources and hotlines may be downloaded (https://cityofmissionviejo.org/sites/default/files/vet-resources-oct202…) on that page. The City’s Housing Rehabilitation program may also be of benefit, and you can inquire about that through the Community Development Department at 949-470-3053, and obtain an appointment to discuss VA Veterans Benefits Services by calling 949-470-3062.
I hope that one of more of these services may be of benefit for you.
