Brighter Days Ahead at Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event Aug. 14
Mark your calendar for the return of the spectacular Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park on Saturday, August 14 from 4 to 8:30 pm on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way.
With a “Brighter Days Ahead” theme, guests will enjoy the beauty of the park with an extra flare of color. Enjoy live music with renowned Pacific Symphony led by Music Director Carl St.Clair; savor delectable fare from tasty food trucks; or play games with your family and friends.
The event will include a special tribute honoring healthcare workers for their hard work and courage throughout the pandemic.
Patrons are encouraged to wear bright colors to help celebrate the day.
The event is free and open to the public. To accommodate parking, shuttle service will be provided from the Civic Center to the Village Green. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!
If the director is Carl St. Clair, can one assume the live music will be thanks to Pacific Symphony or does Mission Viejo have its own orchestra now? If it is in fact Pacific Symphony, I’m sure they would appreciate having their name somewhere in the announcement. Who is providing the live music? Thank you
