Business is bustling in Mission Viejo with several new businesses recently celebrating their grand openings and others following suit.

New businesses include Scilex; Cosmo Nail Bar & Organic Spa; Tutoring Club, Seventh Sense and Casper at The Shops; Walgreens Community Pharmacy; Dr. John Delorme Dental Office; Mission Family Practice; L'Occitane; Golden Crown Barber Shop; Dr. Kenneth A James, MD; T-Mobile; Amplify Surgical; 4Stel Engineering; and others including Stretchlab Mission Viejo.

The Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce hosted ribbon cuttings for the grand reopening of the Gateway Plaza Center and Sydnee's Pet Grooming and will celebrate Taco Mesa next month.

In other business news, Gateway Rehab & Wellness Center is hosting a Summer Bash on Tuesday, August 6 with vendor giveaways, chair massages, food, mobility clinics and more. The property owner continues to explore options for the vacant building, which could include single-tenant or multi-tenant occupancy. Any future use of the space must be compatible with the Commercial Neighborhood zoning of the property.
