Chewy is one tough survivor

chewy

Chances are, if you've visited the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center recently you may have seen Chewy nestled in his bed.  Chewy has been at the shelter since being brutally struck by a car. He sustained multiple rib fractures, trauma to his head and neck, and an unfortunate sprain to his overall spirit - but this is one resilient little dog!

Chewy has come an extremely long way in his recovery and has become one of the Center's most personable and low-maintenance dogs.  His favorite activities are now the simple things in life; such as walks with friendly volunteers, cuddle sessions in the play yards, and spending his down-time by snuggling in his kennel.  Chewy is ready for his forever home, and through a special promotion his adoption fee is only $20 to an approved applicant, which includes his microchip, vaccines, flea control, and neuter.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet and make Chewy the survivor a part of your family.

For more information, call 949-470-3045 or visit the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center at 28095 Hillcrest.

Is Chewy still available? What age and what breed/ size dog is he? Does he get along with other dogs? We are looking for a companion for a dog we already have.
