Restaurant Week is designed to encourage you to explore the City’s culinary landscape while keeping your dining dollars local.
Eateries like Terrace on the Green; Hatam Restaurant; A Hidden Vine on the Lake; Piccolino Ristorante; Panini Kabob Grill and others will offer tasty specials, giving foodies the chance to savor something new.
For a full list of participating restaurants, visit http://mvrestaurantweek.org.
Well dining out is really no longer an option let alone AFFORDABLE.
MENU PRICES HAVE JUMPED 80 PERCENT OR MORE.
IT APPEARS RESTAURANTS ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THIS SO CALLED RECESSION WE'RE SUPPOSE TO BE IN.
Am I missing something? Of all the “restaurants”…and I use that term loosely…that claim to be “participating,” with specials for the occasion. The Mexican place wasn’t really a meal and the Italian place was priced at what used to be NO deal! And wine is another $35??
In defense of the restaurants (I do not own or work at a restaurant), not only the restaurants but many other industries have been affected by rising costs of products and (this amazes me) the inability to depend on reliable staff. My husband works in the food industry and over the last two years bulk order products have increased drastically, which naturally have to be passed on. It's unfortunate for everyone.....just a sorry sign of today's economy.
