Enjoy more fitness programming, indoor and outdoor gym options
With the County moving to a less-restrictive tier and our continuous efforts to provide services while keeping you safe, the City has reopened the indoor gym at the Sierra Recreation and Fitness Center at 10% capacity. The Montanoso Recreation Center gym will remain outdoors, so we can operate at a higher capacity. Both gyms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis - allowing members to have a 1-hour workout time. The City is also working to increase programming and hours of operation at Montanoso, Sierra and Felipe this month.
The Montanoso Recreation and Fitness Center will slowly begin reestablishing programs while complying with State and County guidelines. The first offering is personal training, outdoor group TRX and bootcamp classes beginning the week of Monday, April 5. Bootcamp classes will also be available at the Sierra Recreation and Fitness Center.
The Sierra Recreation and Fitness Center will expand its hours to include weekday evenings starting Monday, April 12. The center will continue providing program options for lap swim, pickleball, indoor gym and tennis. Bootcamp classes will be added in the playground area. New operating hours will be Monday through Friday from 6 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 7 am to 2 pm.
The Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center will also expand its operational hours to include Friday and Saturday play and additional mid-week evening options.
Beginning Friday, April 16, new operating hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 2 pm; Friday and Saturday from 7 am to 12:30 pm; and Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 8:30 pm.
Beginning Wednesday, April 21, Wednesday nights will be added to the Felipe schedule from 3 to 8:30 pm.
