Free Composting Workshop Sept. 30

The City and Waste Management are teaming up to host a free composting workshop at 10 am on Saturday, September 30 in The Kershaw Garden at the Mission Viejo Civic Center.  

Composting is a resourceful way to recycle the food scraps and yard trim folks generate at home and manage their waste more sustainably. 

During the workshop, residents will learn how to turn their yard and food waste into organic fertilizer through traditional composting or vermi-composting. Compost and vermi-composting containers will be available for Mission Viejo residents to purchase or order at a significant discount. 

Registration is limited and required for this free workshop, which takes place at 200 Civic Center. To register, email greenmv@cityofmissionviejo.org.
