Kelley to serve as 2024 Mayor, Ruesch as Mayor Pro Tem
When the City Council reconvenes after the holidays, Trish Kelley will serve as Mayor and Bob Ruesch as Mayor Pro Tem for 2024.
The Council Members were selected for the one-year posts during the City Council's annual reorganization on Tuesday.
This will be the sixth mayoral role for Trish Kelley, who was originally elected to the Mission Viejo City Council in November 2002. Bob Ruesch was first elected to Council in 2022.
During the meeting, Mayor Brian Goodell's 2023 State of the City video also premiered.
The City Council normally meets at 6 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in the Council Chamber located at 200 Civic Center Drive. The next meeting is scheduled for January 9. For more information, visit cityofmissionviejo.org.
