Kiwanis Club seeking used musical instruments to benefit local students

The Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo is seeking donations of “gently used” musical instruments that can be refurbished for use by elementary through high school students in Capistrano and Saddleback Valley Unified School Districts.

Drop off your violin, viola, guitar, ukulele, brass, woodwind or percussion instrument during operating hours at the Mission Viejo Library at 100 Civic Center or Lexus dealership located at 28242 Marguerite Parkway.

Twelve instruments have been donated so far since the Kiwanis Club started the collection drive at the beginning of the month.

For more information, contact Pat Griggs at pagriggs@att.net.
