Learn about voting and the democratic process in Orange County

Your vote counts

The City of Mission Viejo is teaming up with the Orange County Registrar of Voters to educate people about voting and the democratic process in Orange County by hosting a free evening presentation on Tuesday, October 2.

The intriguing community outreach program offers detailed information about new voting legislation, the process of putting elections together and early voting information. Representatives from the Registrar of Voters will be on hand to answer questions as well as provide registration and volunteering opportunities to the community.

This free presentation starts at 6:30 pm in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 200 Civic Center.  Register by calling 949-830-7100, extension 5105 or by emailing libreference@cityofmissionviejo.org.

Bikeway Survey

The City of Mission Viejo is developing a Bikeway Master Plan to improve the cycling experience in our community and encourage more people to enjoy riding their bicycles. We are currently in the process of gathering information to understand current cycling trends and preferences in the City.

As part of this effort, beginning on November 8th and running through December 7th, we are seeking resident feedback via a short, online survey. The survey will be available on our website, in our newsletter, and via our social media sites.

The online survey is available at https://tinyurl.com/missionviejobike, and those who participate will qualify for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
