Celebrate literature and art at the Mission Viejo Poetry + Art Collaborative exhibit reception June 23

Come celebrate building community through creativity at the Mission Viejo Poetry + Art Collaborative exhibit reception on Friday, June 23 at 6 pm.

Launched by the Mission Viejo Library in March, the Poetry + Art Collaborative is an interactive project that highlights our community’s creativity and brings people together through literature and art. 

Community members were invited to submit an original poem or create a piece of visual art inspired by one of the poems submitted by their fellow participants. The writers and artists will meet face-to-face for the first time at the reception while the community has the opportunity to celebrate their creativity.

The reception is free to attend, and light refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be on display through late August.

This project is supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
