Would like to recognize Becky Heinzen who was a teacher for the Disability for 40 years in the Saddleback Valley School District. Becky had to retire a few year back after her battle with cancer. She has long been an advocate for the disability rights of children. Please feel free to contact me for any additional information. Thanks Margie

I would like to nominate TASK (Team of Advocates for Special Kids), a non-profit organization that has been working in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial and San Diego Counties since 1975. TASK's mission is to educate and empower with disabilities and their families. They are a parent training and information center. They provide individual telephone assistance, one-on-one virtual consultations to review specific reports, educational webinars, virtual community outreach; and their Tech Center which provides virtual labs and assistive technology webinars. TASK was born right here in South OC and has helped with hundreds of thousands of families over the years.

I would love to nominate Melody Downey for her tremendous dedication to all our special friends at Vocational Visions clubhouse.
She dedicated every single weekend to these adults to have a place to go and have fun on the weekends.
It has made such a huge difference in my brothers life.

Thank you so much Melody for changing his world.
