Nonprofits sought to benefit from Annual Oso Fit 5K Fun Run
The City and Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce are seeking nonprofits to benefit from the annual Oso Fit 5K Fun Run that gives back 100% of the pre-registration fees to local nonprofits selected by participants.
The event, which takes place on Saturday, February 23 along with the Community Health Fair, raised more than $10,000 last year to help nonprofits achieve their financial goals. Organizations included PTAs/PTOs, booster clubs, community volunteer groups and others.
If your organization is interested in being a nonprofit in which participants can select to donate their registration fee, contact the Mission Viejo Recreation & Community Services Department at 949-470-3061 and visit osofit5k.org for more information about the event.
Viejo Little League is a 501c3 that services families in Mission Viejo. We are a charter member of Little League International, a baseball organization. Our league is staffed entirely by volunteers. We would love to be part of your event, and to be one of the organizations available for donations. If you need volunteers to help with your event we would love to participate that way, also. Thank you.
The Saddleback Art League is a non-profit arts organization that provides local artists with educational, networking, and promotional opportunities. The purpose of our organization is to foster the appreciation of “Fine Arts” in Mission Viejo and the Saddleback Valley. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (except July and August) from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Norman P. Murray Senior Center for art demos and presentations. New members are welcome and donations are much appreciated.
I wanted to make sure Shepherd of the Hills Preschool was on the list of Nonprofits like last year
Thanks for all you do,
Becci Lukes, Executive Director
