OC Human Relation’s Youth Speak Writing Competition

girl giving presentation

The Mission Viejo Diversity + Inclusion Task Force is encouraging local youth to participate in the annual Youth Speak Writing Competition, a county-wide search for top human relations speeches presented by middle and high school students.  Cash prizes are available for first ($500), second ($300) and third-place ($200) winners.

Hosted by OC Human Relations, this year’s theme is “Lift Others as We Rise.”  Speeches should be between 300-400 words in length and include:

  • What does it mean to you to lift others as we rise?
  • Why is this so important today?
  • How can we do this for one another?

The deadline for submittals is at 3 pm on Friday, March 24.

For more information and contest rules, visit OC Human Resources or contact Gagandeep Kaur Mann Saechoa at gagandeep@ochumanrelations.org
