Pre-packaged cookie donations sought for City’s Marines and Sailors
If you want to provide a sweet treat to the brave hearts who serve our country, consider donating pre-packaged cookies for a special event benefitting Mission Viejo’s adopted Marines.
The City’s Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee is seeking pre-packaged cookie donations to distribute during the annual Lake Day event for members of the City’s adopted Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division.
Drop off your pre-packaged cookies by 5 pm on April 4 to the Recreation and Community Services Department located on the second floor of City Hall, 200 Civic Center.

I think it is great to make these marines feel loved and appreciated. I'm the mother of a marine and I know what they go through. I will be bringing my treats. I help working wardrobes dress marines for civilian life twice per year and if you need any help with your organization, please let me know. I live in Mission Viejo.
