Research your family tree in free two-part genealogy program April 21 & May 6

If you’ve ever wanted to research your family tree, now’s your chance.  The City is hosting a two-part free genealogy program designed to help you discover the lineage and history of your family.

During the first part of the program from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 21 at the Mission Viejo Library, you will use different resources to explore the history of your ancestors. In the second session on Saturday, May 6 at the Norman P. Murray Center, you will develop a family crest that can be passed down through generations.

This genealogy program provides a great opportunity to honor those who came before you; preserve your family story for future generations; better understand yourself; and bring family together through shared history.

I would also be interested in attending one of these research sessions on genealogy and family ancestry in the future. Can't go tonight, but am definitely interested!
