Say hello to Animal Services Officer Rodriguez

Guillermo

Meet Mission Viejo Animal Services Officer Guillermo Rodriguez, a 20-year veteran of the industry and 8-year City employee.

He is one of eight Animal Services Officers serving the cities of Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Hills and Rancho Santa Margarita. Before Mission Viejo, Officer Rodriguez worked for Orange County Animal Care.

In our City, he works as the Animal Services Commercial Enforcement Officer – charged with inspecting local pet-related businesses. He ensures that businesses with animals in their care maintain high standards.

In addition to serving our communities, Officer Rodriguez bravely served our country in the United States Marine Corps.

When not working, he enjoys taking road trips with his two kids and spoiling his cat Lucy.

The City of Mission Viejo is grateful for his dedication!

Thanks Guillermo for all you do for our scared strays in the field and for making sure pet businesses are properly caring for animals in their care. You do such a great job! We are blessed to have you on the team.
