Are you signed up for AlertOC?
During this pandemic, the City of Mission Viejo is reminding residents to sign up for AlertOC, a mass notification system designed to keep the public informed of emergencies.
Mission Viejo – in 2008 – was one of the first cities to implement AlertOC– a county-wide notification system funded by the County. The system gives us the ability to communicate with residents and businesses about emergencies that may require immediate lifesaving actions.
Through AlertOC, time-sensitive voice messages from the County or City may be sent to your home, cell or business phone. Text messages may also be sent to cell phones, e-mail accounts and hearing-impaired receiving devices. You can register the whole family to ensure everyone stays safe. To register, click this link or text AlertOC to 888777.
