Sweet Taffy needs a forever home

Taffy

Sweet Taffy has not had the easiest start to her life.  Found as a stray in Lake Elsinore, she was taken to a shelter, but her owners never looked for her, and her time was running out.  Since the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center rescues dogs from that area, she was brought here to find a home that would commit to her for her lifetime.  Unfortunately, she was adopted once but immediately returned because of her activity level and prey drive.  So, she is waiting again for someone who will understand her need for exercise, training and consistency.

Taffy is only 3 years old and acts like a puppy.  She is loving but energetic, sweet but strong-willed.  She needs someone committed to showing her how to be a polite dog through training and exercise.  To get her off on the right paw, Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) will pay for both private and group training and will sponsor her adoption, so that her approved applicant will pay only $20.

Meet Taffy today at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest.  For more information, call 949-470-3045 or visit cmvas.org.
