Sweet Wells needs a loving, forever home

Meet Wells, a 10-month-old mixed-breed pup that was turned into the shelter as a stray in August.   

Initially shy and hesitant of new situations, Wells warms up once he knows he is safe and loved. We think he will bond firmly with his people. Wells walks well on a leash, and when you sit down to relax, he climbs into your lap. He is nervous when faced with loud noises and quick movements, so we recommend a home without small children.  

He would likely enjoy a quiet home where people are home often - perhaps a retired person or couple "” and he may benefit from having a confident dog in the home to show him the way.
