Fun, educational at-home activities available through Mission Viejo Library this winter
The Mission Viejo Library is dedicated to helping families engage in learning at home through fun at-home activities the community can enjoy.
Free take-home activity kits for kids
Take home a free activity kit! Kits are for ages 3 and older and encourage creativity, fine motor skills and early literacy. Winter-themed kits are available through the end of January and Valentine's Day STEM-themed kits will be offered in February.
To request a kit, visit the children's desk or through the curbside service.
Reading and learning challenges
Join the challenge! The Mindfulness Challenge invites families to explore fun and simple ways to increase mindfulness in their everyday lives.
The Genre Challenge encourages kids to read and explore different book genres such as historical fiction, biographies and fantasy. Challenge finishers can earn a small prize like a magnetic bookmark or mini pop-it toy!
