OC Human Relation’s Youth Speak Writing Competition

The Mission Viejo Diversity + Inclusion Task Force is encouraging local youth to participate in the annual Youth Speak Writing Competition, a county-wide search for top human relations speeches presented by middle and high school students. Cash prizes are available for first ($500), second ($300) and third-place ($200) winners.
Hosted by OC Human Relations, this year’s theme is “Lift Others as We Rise.†Speeches should be between 300-400 words in length and include:
- What does it mean to you to lift others as we rise?
- Why is this so important today?
- How can we do this for one another?
The deadline for submittals is at 3 pm on Friday, March 24.
