Summer Fairy Home Building Workshop

Bring magic to your world for summer! Build your own personalized summer-themed fairy home for your home or garden. All materials supplied including pixie dust, so just bring your imagination! Cost is $35 plus a $10 material fee due to the instructor for age 5 and older. The class is from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 13. (Course #35722)

Intro to Mosaics

Beginning Jewelry Making

This introduction to jewelry making covers basic techniques working with tools and beading materials. Participants enjoy creating "do-it-yourself" bracelets, earrings, pendants and necklaces. Learn how colors evoke appropriate emotional reactions using lighting, clothing, artwork, photography, room colors and other surroundings. Experience your emotional reaction to light color changes. Young Rembrandts If You Give A Mouse A Cookie

iPhone Photography

Shoot Better Digital Photos

This hands-on workshop ends the confusion about your camera's menus, focusing flash, ISO and more. Learn to shoot photographs - not snapshots! Bring a charged camera and manual. Cost is $45 for age 16 and older. This class is from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. (Course #35845)

Ceramic Jewelry Box Workshop

Adults will create a jewelry box using a clay soft-slab technique and learn how to throw a pot on potter's wheel as well as glaze beautiful art pieces. Early Childhood Art and Book Reading

Children will enjoy a book reading by local author Deborah Sherrell and create a special painting to take home. (A caregiver is required in this class that is free for ages 3-9.) It takes place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 20. (Course #35959)

Girl-Powered Intro to Steam Using Lego

This course provides a supportive environment for girls who love to build! These engineer-designed projects include trains, helicopters, treehouses, beam bridges and more. Cost is $165 for ages 5-7. This camp is from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, July 29 to August 2. (Course #29739)
