War Comes Home: The Interviews (free screening)

This is the companion film to the War Comes Home exhibit. In a series of candid interviews, veterans reflect upon their military service and re-entry into civilian society.
Holiday Toy Drive for our adopted Marines and their Families
Date: Saturday, December 3 2022
Location: Norman Murray Community and Senior Center - Parking Lot

Time: 9 - 11 am
Help make the holidays brighter for the families of our adopted Marines by donating new, unwrapped toys during a special donation drive from 9 to 11 am on Saturday, December 3 at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way. Led by the Mission Viejo Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee, the drive-through event will benefit members of the City’s adopted Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division.
If you can’t make it on December 3, don’t worry, we will have marked donation boxes available from November 26 through December 12 at the following facilities:
- City Hall, 200 Civic Center
- Mission Viejo Library, 100 Civic Center
- Montanoso Recreation Center, 25800 Montanoso Drive
- Sierra Recreation Center, 26887 Recodo Lane
- Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center, 27161 Nogal
- Marguerite Tennis Pavilion, 27474 Casta Del Sol
Online donations can also be made at https://mvcommunityfoundation.org and monetary donations are also accepted via mail. Checks made payable to Mission Viejo Community Foundation can be sent to Mission Viejo Recreation Department, 200 Civic Center, Mission Viejo 92691.
