chamber of commerce

Mark your calendar for September 19 and get ready to support local businesses during the annual Buy Local Showcase from 4-7:30 pm at the Village Center on the corner of La Paz and Marguerite Parkway.

The Buy Local Showcase was created by the Chamber of Commerce and City of Mission Viejo to support our businesses and encourage local buying that strengthens our thriving community by raising awareness about the economic, environmental and community benefits of thinking local first.

If your nonprofit is looking for a new way to support the community this year, listen up! The City of Mission Viejo and Chamber of Commerce are expanding the annual Community Health Fair in March to include a 5K Fun Run and Children’s Quarter and Half-Mile races.

What this means for you is that 100% of the pre-registration fee goes to a nonprofit of the runner’s choice. So, if you are involved with a Mission Viejo nonprofit and want to raise money the easy way, don’t delay in contacting our Recreation & Community Services Department today at 949-470-3016.

Join Mayor Wendy Bucknum, City and business leaders in highlighting women in leadership and honoring local veterans during the State of the City event on Saturday, November 11.

Hosted by the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, the event is at 6 p.m. at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club. Mayor Bucknum will give a report on the state of Mission Viejo, highlighting some past accomplishments and providing a glimpse at what’s ahead in 2018.

The Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Business Expo on Thursday, September 21 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Saddleback College Life Science Quad at 28000 Marguerite Parkway.

The event is free for the public and includes complimentary food samples from local eateries. The Business Expo gives restaurants and businesses the opportunity to showcase their fare, goods and services to the community.

The Annual Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce Breakfast is set for 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 15 at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club (26772 Avery Parkway). Mission Viejo High School Football Coach Bob Johnson will be the keynote speaker and the program includes Presentation of the Colors by the United States Army Recruiting Center and an Invocation by Senior Pastor Mike Maiolo of Mission Viejo Christian Church.

The Arroyo Trabuco Golf Course will host the next Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce mixer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 19.

Mixers give folks the chance to enjoy refreshments while networking with local business leaders and elected officials.
