Mission Viejo Animal Services Center

Castiel, is a 1 ½-year-old short-haired cat with the most unique markings.  He is white with attractive orange tabby spots that give him a striking appearance.  His personality is very typical of orange tabby cats – calm, mellow and extremely loving.  He may go unnoticed while in his cage because he is such a relaxed cat that he is often overlooked.  However, if you ask to visit him outside of his kennel, you will be pleasantly surprised by his loving personality.

Santa Paws is in town for a good cause. On Saturday, December 10, you and your pet can have your picture taken with Santa and help support the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.

The holiday event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Winter Wonderland Village nestled in the Kershaw Garden at the City’s Civic Center, 200 Civic Center.

Meet Atticus, a young happy, interactive and lovable dog.  This white and black terrier is about a year and half old and enjoys walks, playing in the yard and cuddling on your lap. Although Atticus loves all people, he can be selective with dogs and would likely do best in a home without other dogs or one with a submissive female dog.

Ruff!  I'm Wookie, a special 10-year-old terrier mix. My happy, energetic, playful nature and puppy-like features may say puppy, but I am a sweet senior dog. I still have a good amount of energy to enjoy walks, but I also love to relax and cuddle up.  I would do best with a family that is home quite often so we could spend lots of quality time together.

Please meet me at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest. I will go home neutered, microchipped and vaccinated - and since I am a senior dog, my adoption fee is only $20 for an approved applicant.

The pet path at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center is greener after local Girl Scouts decorated it with hundreds of plants.

To obtain their Silver Award, Girl Scout Troop #3277 spent 60 hours total landscaping and installing 250 drought-tolerant plants at the center off Hillcrest.

The City appreciates the efforts of these young ladies who serve as an inspiration to us all!

Mama Goose is a 1-year-old black cat who delivered seven kittens while at the Mission Viejo Animal Service Center. Her babies have all been adopted except for this sweet cat.

Mama Goose is still much like a kitten herself. She is playful, energetic and enjoys chasing ping-pong balls around the play room. She is independent and very curious. She likes interacting with people but is also content on her own. She is a smart and vocal cat with expressive eyes.
