COVID-19 Senior Resources Guide full of essential information

covid food delivery

To ensure older residents have the latest information and resources to help during this coronavirus crisis, the City of Mission Viejo continues to update its COVID-19 Senior Resources Guide.

The guide features a host of essential resources including information about agencies assisting seniors who may not have access to food and other necessities as they self-isolate to avoid exposure to COVID-19. Seniors will find detailed information about 211 Orange County, which can help them navigate their individual situations by matching them with the appropriate needs in the area.

Several local food pantries with hours of operation and instructions for obtaining food and other needs are listed including Saint Kilian’s Food Pantry, Saddleback Church and Mercy Warehouse.

Seniors and adults interested in giving back will find volunteer opportunities like assembling and distributing meals through Age Well Senior Services, 211 OC and others.
