The City of Mission Viejo is hosting two free holiday events for all ages at the North Paseo on December 7 and 16.
On Thursday, December 7 at 3:30 pm, join the Norman P. Murray Aloha Strummers for a festive afternoon of holiday songs on the ukulele.
Enjoy live music in the Garden + Grille at 5:30 pm on Friday, December 1. Vintage Vinyl will play classic rock hits from the '60s, '70s and '80s for the final live music night until the spring.
Cocktails and a music night food menu will be available for purchase in this outdoor, garden-vibe setting. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The City of Mission Viejo and Mission Viejo Activities Committee are gearing up for the holidays with several fun family-friendly events for all ages.
Santa returns to Oso Creek Golf Course on Sunday, December 10 to enjoy brunch with you! This spectacular holiday event includes two seatings at 10 am and 12:30 pm.
You and your family will enjoy taking photos with St. Nick on a golf cart; decorating a Christmas cookie; making a holiday ornament and other holiday crafts, as well as the talents of strolling carolers.

The City Council on November 14 will consider a project for infrastructure to enhance pedestrian safety and a design to improve a park play area, among other business. The business portion of the meeting starts at 6 pm in the City Council Chamber, 200 Civic Center. Furthering the Council’s priority to improve one park play area per year, a design contract will be considered to prepare construction drawings for a Crucero Park Play Area Rehabilitation project at 27672 Crucero.
Enjoy several events for all ages in Mission Viejo this winter at the North Paseo. Upcoming events include: 
Kick off the holiday season with a Gingerbread Bash at Oso Creek Golf Course on Saturday, December 2 from 3 to 5:30 pm. Build your own gingerbread house as a family! Gingerbread houses will be provided, plus extra candy decorations like M&M’s, gumdrops and more. Families will enjoy taking photos on Santa’s sleigh, writing a letter to Santa and dropping it in his mailbox, and decorating an ornament to hang on Oso Creek’s tree.
