Santa returns to Oso Creek Golf Course on Sunday, December 10 to enjoy brunch with you! This spectacular holiday event includes two seatings at 10 am and 12:30 pm.

You and your family will enjoy taking photos with St. Nick on a golf cart; decorating a Christmas cookie; making a holiday ornament and other holiday crafts, as well as the talents of strolling carolers.

Kick off the holiday season with a Gingerbread Bash at Oso Creek Golf Course on Saturday, December 2 from 3 to 5:30 pm.

Build your own gingerbread house as a family! Gingerbread houses will be provided, plus extra candy decorations like M&M's, gumdrops and more. Families will enjoy taking photos on Santa's sleigh, writing a letter to Santa and dropping it in his mailbox, and decorating an ornament to hang on Oso Creek's tree.

The City Council on Tuesday received a detailed overview of the City’s extensive community engagement and proactive efforts for the LOS OSOS project and approved a plan to move it forward.   

Come play in your own backyard during live music night at the Garden + Grille at 5:30 pm on Friday, November 3. Moondog Miller Band is a rock n' roll dance band playing music from the '50s to the '80s and more.

Cocktails and a music night food menu will be available for purchase in this outdoor, garden-vibe setting. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

The City of Mission Viejo is gearing up for some spooky Halloween fun with several events scheduled for all ages around town.

Upcoming events include:

Mission Viejo residents are invited to connect with other south Orange County residents in a guided discussion about the misconceptions of homelessness on November 13.  

Hosted by the United Way, this regional Table Talk is from 6-8 pm at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way. The program will an opportunity to engage in new conversations that will help lay the groundwork for change and other solutions to end homelessness in our communities. 

The winners of the Halloween and Fall Home Decorating Contest have been announced, so grab your family and hop in your car for a spooky good time.

Hosted by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee, the contest featured residents competing for forever bragging rights and recognition in categories that include Best Theme, Best Special effects, Scariest, Most Creative, Scariest and Pumpkin-Tastic.

The City Council on October 10 will consider applying for street-enhancement funding and safety improvements.  

The business portion of the meeting starts at 6 pm in the City Council Chamber, 200 Civic Center.
