The City of Mission Viejo will host an open house and walking tour to seek final input from the community about the LOS OSOS Core Area project on Wednesday, October 11 from 4:30 to 6 pm at the North Paseo, 25282 Marguerite Parkway.

The public is invited to view exhibits, give input on the project and enjoy a walking tour with City staff. Folks can also take part in pumpkin painting with the Mission Viejo Cultural Arts Committee and artist Jack Knight starting at 3 pm.

The City Council on Tuesday recognized some outstanding athletes who won the 2023 USA Diving Junior Nationals at the Marguerite Aquatics Complex as well as approved agreements with the Nadadores and a youth-oriented musical theatre program, among other business.

Tempt your taste buds with delectable fare during this year’s Mission Viejo Restaurant Week October 9-15.  

Several eateries will take you on a culinary journey in honor of this special week hosted by the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce and City of Mission Viejo.

Restaurant Week is designed to encourage you to explore the City’s culinary landscape while keeping your dining dollars local.

The business portion of the meeting starts at 6 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.  

Community members can learn how to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving-style dinner with Oso Creek Golf's renowned Chef Ricardo on Monday, October 23 from 6 to 9 pm.

This fun, interactive evening will be a hands-on culinary dining experience for age 21 and older. Chef will describe and demonstrate each dish as participants take turns assisting with the preparation.  At the end of the evening, each person will eat what they made and enjoy one complimentary glass of wine.
