Crime Prevention Specialist Timory McElwain is Mission Viejo Police Services’ 2022 Employee of the Year.
Timory’s outstanding work ethic has gained her the respect of peers and supervisors alike.
For the past year, Timory has served as Mission Viejo Police Services’ community outreach liaison. She develops and maintains several outreach programs like Neighborhood Watch and Business Watch and serves as a special event coordinator for many City events throughout the year.

Bryan Zahn, a Senior Public Services Supervisor, has been named Mission Viejo’s 2022 Employee of the Year.
Surrounded by colleagues and friends, Bryan received the annual award from City Manager Dennis Wilberg.
Nominated by several people for the annual award, Bryan is a 17-year City employee who is known for always going above and beyond the call of duty and for his passion and love for Mission Viejo, which has helped to make it the beautiful city that it is today.

The City of Mission Viejo is seeking lifeguards of all ages for year-round work at the recreation centers.
Older adults, retirees, college students and athletes looking for rewarding part-time work are encouraged to apply.
Lifeguard positions are assigned to the Montanoso or Sierra Recreation and Fitness Centers. Lifeguards work during pool hours and special events.
The hourly rate starts at $16.50 and is contingent based on experience. The job also offers a bonus up to $250 for working peak seasons.

If you are looking for an exciting part-time position, listen up. We are seeking enthusiastic people to fill the roles of Community Services Leader; Lifeguard; and Senior Lifeguard.
The Community Services Leader is tasked with front desk work and babysitting duties at the Montanoso and Sierra Recreation and Fitness Centers. The pay ranges from $11-$14.20 per hour.
The Human Resources Division is a division within the Administrative Services Department. The Human Resources Division provides centralized human resources functions, including recruitment, classification, compensation and benefit administration, training, employee relations, employee recognition, promotion of the City's Core Values, and maintenance of employee records.
