Join us for a cozy monthly book club the first Thursday of the month in the Friends Storytime Room of the library! The next book for our club is "Daughters of the Lamp" by Nedda Lewers. This book club is for tweens 10-12 years old to come together and make friendships over the love of reading.

The Mission Viejo Library invites you to our Resin Craft Club! For this session, we will be using resin to make dice to use for tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons, Settlers of Cataan, and even Yahtzee! Whether you're an experienced resin crafter or new to the activity, you'll be surprised just how easy it is!

The Navy Federal Credit Union and the Mission Viejo Library invite you to a presentation on Digital Safety. This program will cover important topics such as the best practices for banking online, the importance of regularly monitoring your online accounts, credit monitoring, and not falling for online scams. 

This free program will be held on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:00pm in the Council Chamber.

The Mission Viejo Library is seeking local businesses to participate in its annual incentive program for National Library Card Sign-Up Month. 

National Library Card Sign-Up Month takes place every year September 1-30. To celebrate, the library wants to partner with Mission Viejo businesses to provide incentives and discounts for participants who show their Mission Viejo Library card.

If you’re a teen who is stressed about going back to school, don’t miss the “Stress-free School Year” workshop on July 28. 

Students 13 and older are invited to join subject-matter experts and library staff for a de-stressing workshop from 4-6 pm in The Kershaw Garden at 200 Civic Center. 

The free workshop will explore the importance of mindfulness and includes a yoga lesson and hands-on crafts. Light snacks and stress-relieving kits will also be provided.
