If you’re a teen who is stressed about going back to school, don’t miss the “Stress-free School Year†workshop on July 28.
Students 13 and older are invited to join subject-matter experts and library staff for a de-stressing workshop from 4-6 pm in The Kershaw Garden at 200 Civic Center.
The free workshop will explore the importance of mindfulness and includes a yoga lesson and hands-on crafts. Light snacks and stress-relieving kits will also be provided.

Registered participants are invited to attend the the session on Wed. August 23 at 10:30 am.
Watch your child discover paint, glue, crayons, dough and more. Kids enjoy developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences with manipulative art and sensory materials. Parent participation is required. Register for this free program at LibraryPrograms@cityofmissionviejo.org.

Excelsior! Come join us for a fun Marvel Trivia event on Friday July 21 at 6:00 pm.
Test your knowledge of all of the Marvel Studios films, from Iron Man to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!

Thank you for your interest in Space Science Camp at Mission Viejo Library from July 17 through July 20!
This program is free and open to students ages 10-14. Registration is limited. Priority registration will be given to students who commit to all four days. Separate registration is required for each child. Parents/caregivers will have the option to stay onsite with their child. However, students will be expected to participate together in groups with other students throughout the day as part of the learning experience.

The community is invited to the Mission Viejo Library’s first Local Author Showcase and Book Fair on Sunday, June 25.
This program is designed to support local authors and takes place from 1-4 pm at the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Authors from across Orange County will discuss their writing journey and have their latest books available for purchase.
