The Mission Viejo Library and Cultural Arts department is seeking original digital photographs for a special "Moon Over Mission Viejo" virtual gallery display. 

Children and their parents are invited to tune in at 1 pm to a virtual Writers Present with children's author Maryrose Wood on Saturday, January 23.

Maryrose is best known for penning "The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place," the acclaimed middle-grade series about a teenage governess and her three raised-by-wolves pupils, published by Balzer + Bray. Titles in the six-book series have appeared on "Best Children's Books of the Year" lists from NPR, Christian Science Monitor, Kirkus and others.
