Mark your calendar for July 16 to kick up your heels for a great cause at the Boots, Beer and BBQ event benefiting our City’s adopted Marines.

Hosted by the Mission Viejo Community Foundation and Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee, this popular event is from 4 to 7 pm at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

Guests will enjoy boot scootin’ and two steppin’ line dance lessons, a live DJ and delicious catered meal from Outback Steakhouse. (Beer, wine and soda will be available for purchase.)

This Father’s Day Weekend cruise over to the North Paseo by foot, bike, or vehicle and enjoy two great markets - the Farmers Market from 9 am-1 pm and the Night Market from 5-9 pm on Saturday, June 17.

On Friday, July 14, Bruno and the Hooligans will take center stage. This tribute band offers a unique experience that provides an exciting mix of the funk of R&B sound of Bruno Mars. This concert will feature a Business Expo hosted by the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce. Connecting local businesses with the community, the Business Expo is from 4 to 8 pm with the concert beginning at 6 pm.

On Saturday, June 10, the City and community volunteers will host a geocaching kick-off event to launch the first Southern California GeoTour. The kick-off event will take place during a portion of the City’s Farmers Market located at the North Paseo, 25282 Marguerite Parkway from 9:30-11 am.

Celebrate Independence Day in grand style with the Mission Viejo Activities Committee at its annual July 4th Street Faire & Fireworks Spectacular.

The fun takes place on Tuesday, July 4 on Olympiad between Marguerite Parkway and Melinda Road from noon to 9 pm.

Enjoy live entertainment, rides, delectable fare from food trucks, and games for the whole family. You can also shop more than 30 booths with craft and gift ideas.
