The City's Diversity Inclusion Task Force is hosting a "Caregiver for Children with Special Needs" program this Saturday, October 22 at the Norman P. Murray Center.

The class begins at 9 am at 24932 Veterans Way.

This two-hour workshop teaches caregivers of special need children how to reduce burnout through self-care. Topics include managing stress, building a support system, adding self-care to your daily routine, and time management.

Join us for a sentimental family event to create beautiful thank you cards for our local veterans. Patrons will also enjoy face painting, American Flag tattoos and popsicles.

The thank you cards will be handed out at the November 11 Veterans Day Observance at the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
