The City of Mission Viejo will host a Drive-Through Flu Shot Clinic in the parking lot of the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center on Friday, November 6.

While supplies last, the vaccine from the Orange County Health Care Agency will be available to folks 18 and older from 10 am to 2 pm.  Participants will be required to wear a face mask. 

The flu shots are free, but donations are welcome to benefit the City’s senior services. Mission Hospital is sponsoring the event along with Monarch Health Care and MemorialCare. 

Youth sports like soccer, softball and baseball practices are slowly returning to City fields beginning August 31 – in line with the California Department of Public Health’s new guidance for youth sports to return to play.

Help staff at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center celebrate National Senior Citizen Day, Friday, August 21 with a tasty drive-through event.

From 11 am to noon, staff will honor the folks (55 and older) we love and miss by safely handing out free ice cream desserts. Simply drive up to the parking lot for a sweet summer treat while supplies last.

The City is seeking donations of diapers and baby wipes through the Drive-Through Food Assistance Programs of Families Forward and Family Assistance Ministries.

You can help families in need during this COVID-19 crisis by dropping of diapers in sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6 and wipes from 9-11 am on Saturday, July 11 and July 25 at the Norman P. Murray Community Center.

For this drop-and-go event, please remain in your vehicle and place donations in the trunk of your vehicle.

45 minute full body circuit training class with Certified Trainer that can be done at home utilizing free weights, body weight and fat burning cardio bursts. This quick moving, full body work out is for all body types. Warm up and cool down stretch included. All levels welcome. Equipment needed- mat, small/medium weights or resistance bands (if you don't have equipment, you can use other weighted items such as water jugs, Gatorade bottles, water jugs with water, etc).
