Spring/Summer Art Classes
Musically Speaking with Beth Sussman (Free Online Classes)
Join Juilliard-trained pianist Beth Sussman for eight joyful and engaging music workshops that will include learning "secret code" words that musicians use, figuring out how to read rhythm using cups and creating sound effects for a story with everyday objects.
Beth Sussman is a Master Teaching Artist with Segerstrom Center for the Arts, The Los Angeles Music Center and The Kennedy Center. She leads workshops for over 10,000 kids annually and has created popular content on YouTube used by schools nationwide.
Classes are on Tuesday, June 8 to July 27 from 4-4:30 pm for ages 6 to 11. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
Potocki Family Art Time
Help your child explore the creative world around them with different mediums and ideas through art projects. Children must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Classes will be held on the outdoor patio at the Potocki Center for the Arts and current safety standards will be followed. Pre-register for classes to hold your spot or drop-in.
Classes are on Wednesday, June 23 to August 11 from 10-11:30 am for all ages. The class fee is $5 per child.

Fun Art for Kids (Online)
Get ready for a fun-packed hour of language arts and fine arts! First, we will read a timely and fun story book and then we will do a directed draw based on the book we read. Supplies needed will be colored pencils and white paper.
Classes are on Wednesday, August 4 to September 8 from 4-5 pm for ages 7 to 11. The class fee is $30; register here.
