Bucknum to serve as Mayor and Sachs as Mayor Pro Tem for 2022

When the City Council reconvenes after the holidays, Wendy Bucknum will serve as Mayor and Ed Sachs as Mayor Pro Tem for 2022. The Council Members were selected for the one-year posts during the City Council’s annual reorganization on Tuesday. 

This will be the second Mayoral role for Wendy Bucknum who served as Mayor in 2017. Ed Sachs first served as Mayor Pro Tem in 2017.

During the meeting, Mayor Trish Kelley’s 2021 State of the City video also premiered. 

The City Council normally meets at 6 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month in the Council Chamber located at 200 Civic Center Drive. The next meeting is scheduled for January 11. For more information, visit cityofmissionviejo.org.
