Pay homage to our fallen soldiers via City’s Drive-Through American Heroes Tribute
In honor of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, the City is hosting a Drive-Through American Heroes Tribute to maintain social distancing through May 28 in the Mission Viejo Civic Center courtyard. The City of Mission Viejo is the only Orange County city to host a drive-through tribute.
The 3-foot by 9-foot banners pay homage to American soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq. Local heroes are memorialized with a banner.
The American Heroes Tribute leads up to the Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony on May 25. The Civic Center is located at 200 Civic Center.

This is an excellent tribute…
This is an excellent tribute for all those who so unselflessly served our nation with honor. As a tribute to one who served in the European Theater during WWII, I buried my mom on October 16, 2018, with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery, knowing she would have been proud to be honored in such an auspicious fashion!
Thanks so much for bringing…
Thanks so much for bringing this treasure to our community. I have brought my grandchildren and their friends to walk through the banners and have encouraged them to read about those who gave their lives for our country. Will be visiting the site again this year.
Thank you again!!!
