Mission Viejo Activities Committee

A special artist reception is set for Sunday to celebrate the incredible works of art on display at the Potocki Center for the Arts.

The reception is from 2-5 pm at 27301 La Paz Road.

The fascinating exhibit is by students of Dr. Marillyn Brame, director of Visual Arts Art School and a designer of visual arts murals. She teaches classes for children and adults in all media – from beginning drawing to advanced painting techniques.

Get into the spirit of the holiday season by entering your beautifully decorated home in the annual Home Lighting Contest hosted by the Mission Viejo Activities Committee.

Prizes are awarded to the top five homes that win in categories like “How Did They Do That?”; “Tell Me A Story”; and “Holiday Traditions.”  Along with forever bragging rights, winners will receive a sign of recognition for their front yard and special gift.

If you want to capture the magic of the season, check out the winners of the Mission Viejo Activities Committee’s annual Holiday Home Lighting Contest.

With winning themes like “showstopper”; “how’d they do that?”; and “light up the neighborhood,” the homes display spirit and a huge wow factor.

Beginning with the decorations and festive lights at our Civic Center, drive by these addresses for a fun and memorable family night out.
