Get ready for 76 trombones, the big parade, and 110 cornets close at hand because “The Music Man” is coming to Mission Viejo High School April 25-28 and May 3-5.

“The Music Man” is a classic, family friendly musical comedy by Meredith Wilson concerning a fast-talking salesman, a small-town librarian, and the good folks of River City, Iowa and featuring the memorable songs “76 Trombones,” “Goodnight My Someone,” “’Till There Was You,” and more.

In celebration of five decades of educational excellence, Mission Viejo High School is hosting a “Flashback to the Future” 50th Anniversary Party on Saturday, May 20.

Open to Mission Viejo alumni, teachers, coaches, staff and people throughout the community, this fun event is from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way. Guests will enjoy a DJ, light dinner, dessert and no-host bar. (Must be 21 to attend.)
