Hi there!! My husband and I adopted Pirate (now renamed to Poppy) in February after losing our 18 year old kitty to cancer, and we wanted to give you an update!! We love her so much! We can’t imagine our home without her now. She really helped heal our hearts and her and our 16 year old senior have become buddies. She’s so sweet, gentle, and just loves to cuddle. In August of 2018 I adopted Kazoo who was thought to be about 4 years old. I thought he needed a companion, so in August of 2021 I adopted Blossom who is a senior (probably 10 to 14). At first they just tolerated each other, but Blossom was determined to win Kazoo over. Whenever he is on this big pillow, she just gets on there too. So now they are best friends.
I just wanted to send you an update and let you know that Poe (now Gryphon) has settled in so well with our family and is very loved. He purrs as soon as we go near him and pet him and flops on the floor for a belly rub. He loves to be on our lap for cuddles and is very affectionate. He has been very playful and wonderful with our two boys and dogs. What an amazing little cat he is.
I wanted to send you some pics from Coco’s [elote’s] first month with us. She is the sweetest kitten- so affectionate and playful. Our older cat and her play together and just this week started sleeping on the same bed- they are making progress!! We adopted Laguna, now Pumpkin, a little over 2 months ago and I wanted to send an update. Pumpkin is doing amazing in our home. She loves to play, watch dad work, and make biscuits on her favorite blanket. We love having Pumpkin!
Macho Nacho is doing great! This is within 10 minutes of us getting home for the first time with him (and Luigi). He pretty much made himself right at home.

Sage, now known as Kacey, is really feeling at home. She walks great on the leash with Freckles. They are still working on their relationship, Kacey wants to play and Freckles wants to be left alone. At night they do sleep on their dog beds next to each other. As you can see Kacey has found it’s ok to lay on the couch.

It’s been a little over 5 months since we’ve adopted Hoagie. This guy has eased into his fur-ever home and has brought immense love and joy into our lives. Thank you for giving us this snuggle bug and the newest member of our family.

We adopted a sweet little kitten about a month ago from you and we wanted to share that he has become a huge part of our family! When we adopted him, his name was Key Largo. Our daughters have since named him Bunker, after a golf course sand trap, because of his white fur.

We adopted Sierra from your Shelter on Tuesday 8/10/21. The name she responded to was Sophie and that is her official name. The first night was restless but now it’s not even a week and it feels like she has been in our family always. We love her and are so happy she is home.

Kali’s have finished 2 out of 4 meds and also girls are finishing up the boiled chicken and rice I made for Kali earlier in the week. Transitioning away from boiled chicken and rice to adding some of the hard and soft food Gemma eats to completely be on Gemma's food by the time the meds are done. Fingers crossed for Kali.
