Korra is a beautiful 4-year-old German Shepherd mix that came to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center through the Mission for Home Rescue program.
Korra was on her last day at a high-intake shelter in Riverside when we transferred the sweet dog to Mission Viejo and saved her life. However, she has been waiting for a new family and forever home since January.
Application window for 2024 is closed. Please check back in February 2025

Five-year-old Venice experienced a series of unfortunate life events that led her to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.
Through no fault of her own, Venice, a Staffordshire-terrier mix, was passed around from home to home, all of which were ill-equipped to give her the beautiful life she deserves. Her former owner describes Venice as a friendly, mellow, independent, and quiet dog that loves car rides and walks.
In the spirit of Valentine's Day, our employees are sharing the love of the furry family members they’ve adopted from the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.
You can do the same by posting photos of your beloved animals adopted from our shelter using the hashtag #missionviejoanimalserviceslove and tagging our City. We will do our best to follow up and share your photos, too.
