The City of Mission Viejo’s budget is balanced and fiscally robust with strong discretionary reserves – despite the pandemic – thanks to proactive budget-reducing measures and the use of American Rescue Plan resources that allowed the City to continue providing top-notch services to the community.
ADA Statement
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits all state and local governmental agencies from discriminating against persons with disabilities and from excluding participation in or denying benefits of programs, services, or activities to persons with disabilities.
In 2022, the City of Mission Viejo undertook a comprehensive review of all City fees. A User Fee Study was performed by Willdan Financial Services to determine the full costs incurred by the City to provide service and support for various activities for which the City charges user fees. The cost is based on the fully burdened hourly rates for personnel directly involved in providing a service.
