Coloring for Adults at the Mission Viejo Library happens every second Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Heritage Reading Porch area. 

Join us to reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and exercise your creative side. A few colored pencils are all it takes! Coloring for Adults is a free program designed to provide adults with a calm outlet to express their creativity. 

For adults 18 and older. No registration required. All supplies provided.

The Mission Viejo Library's Friday Night Trivia continues! This free program will be held on Thursday, March21 at 6:00 pm in the Friends Storytime Room.

Presented by Collegewise, this free seminar will help families separate college admissions fact from fiction. We’ll discuss grades, test scores, activities, and everything else colleges evaluate. Attendees will get straight answers about how college admissions committees decide who gets in. We think kids and parents will be pleasantly surprised to learn that kids don’t have to be trilingual, opera-singing rocket scientists to get into college today.

Join us for a cozy monthly book club the first Thursday of the month in the Friends Storytime Room in the library! The next book for our club is A Wish in the Dark by Christina Soontornvat (Newbery Winner, 2021). This book club is for tweens ages 10-12 years old to come together and make friendships over their love of reading.

Join culinary professional and local bestselling author George Geary as he discusses his newest book "LA's Landmark Restaurants" at 2 pm on Sunday, April 30 in the Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center. 

"LA's Landmark Restaurants" focuses on legacy past and present family-owned restaurants. With an array of cuisines from Long Beach to the Valley, the region boasts a cornucopia of delectable establishments.

The City has always embraced its world-class sports facilities and Olympic spirit. Join Mayor Brian Goodell, an Olympic gold medalist, as he discusses the past, present, and future of Mission Viejo’s relationship with the Olympics on March 26. He will talk about his experience as an athlete in the 1976 Montreal games; events that took place in Mission Viejo during 1984 Los Angeles Games; and Mission Viejo’s possible involvement in the 2028 games in Los Angeles.
