You can dispose of your unwanted, used or expired prescription medications during the drive-through National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 28 at Mission Viejo City Hall.
The event is from 10 am to 2 pm at 200 Civic Center.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is designed to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications.

This year’s Walk Against Drugs Community Fair will feature a meet-and-greet and musical performance by singer-songwriter Karly Moreno from Season 16 of NBC’s “The Voice.â€
The Community Fair takes place from 9 am to noon on Saturday, October 21 on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way.

In an effort to educate and keep residents and businesses safe, Mission Viejo Police Services will host a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Presentation at 1 pm on Wednesday, October 11 at Presbyterian Church of the Master.
Led by Crime Prevention Specialist Timory Sayne, the free presentation will feature important information about current scams and crime trends including theft, burglary, financial crimes, distraction thefts, crimes of opportunity and many others.
