All Californians 16+ now eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine
Every Californian 16 and older is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. To help end the pandemic and protect you, your loved ones and those around you, the County and State are encouraging everyone who can to register for the vaccine.
To obtain a vaccine, registration is required and available at Othena.com. Registration is also available at the websites listed in this flier our City produced to keep you informed.
You are also encouraged to check with your healthcare provider for vaccine availability.
Folks who need assistance can call the County’s COVID-19 hotline at 714-834-2000.

Second application period for County’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program ends April 30
The County of Orange is once again offering rental households up to $10,000 in financial assistance for unpaid rent or utility bills due to the impact of COVID-19 as part of its Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
Applications are available until April 30. Certain income criteria applies (see this flier), and eligible expenses include unpaid rent or utility bills due to the coronavirus (not future rent or utility costs). Landlords can also encourage tenants to apply.

OC moving to Orange Tier Wednesday, March 31
The California Department of Public Health announced today that effective Wednesday, March 31, Orange County will move into the Orange Tier of the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy.
This means many local businesses and activities can either expand capacity or resume operations. Visit the State’s website at https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy for information about business and activities under the Orange Tier. You can also visit this page for information.
Community members are reminded to continue wearing a mask, avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated indoor spaces, and practicing physical distancing from people outside your household to help limit the impact of variants circulating in Southern California. Residents who have not yet received a vaccination against COVID-19 are encouraged by the County to register at www.Othena.com to be placed in the virtual waiting room and notified when it is their turn to schedule an appointment. Several ways to receive COVID-19 vaccine
To help end the pandemic and protect you, your loved ones and those around you, the County and State are encouraging everyone who can to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Gov. Gavin Newsom announced today that Californians 50+ will be eligible for the vaccination starting April 1. Every Californian 16 and older will be eligible for vaccination on April 15. To obtain a vaccine, registration is required. Folks who are not yet eligible should register now to be placed in a “virtual waiting room” where they will be notified when they can receive the vaccine.
The County of Orange is currently vaccinating Phase 1A, Phase 1B, ages 65+ and people ages 16-64 with medical conditions in accordance with current State guidelines. Phase 1B, Tier 1 includes folks who work in education; food service; grocery and agriculture; childcare; and emergency services. You can review the requirements via Phase 1B on the State’s website and contact your employer for proof of your eligibility if you fall into one of the employment categories.
In addition to the County’s Othena website, you can register on the State’s site as well as local pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens. You are also encouraged to check with your healthcare provider for vaccine availability.
